We operate as a general accountancy practice and so our clients operate over a wide range of different types of business. We act for many local traders such as shops, tradesmen and electricians and we will be happy to speak to any local business to see if we can assist them. We also deal with larger businesses who operate as partnerships or limited companies and again these cover many different business sectors. As registered auditors we are able to carry out audit requirements for larger organisations, and also specifically charities who require audit work. We also act as Independent Examiners for many charities and advise them on charity law requirements and gift aid tax reclaims.

We have a dedicated payroll department where we process the payroll for many of our clients and advise them of the payments required for their employees or arrange to make the salary payments direct into the employees bank account. The payroll service covers clients with only one employee right through to employers with in excess of 75 employees.

We can also offer a VAT Return preparation and submission service which is taken up by many of our clients given the complexities of VAT law.

Many of our clients are individuals who require assistance with the completion of the Tax Returns on an annual basis. We carry out Tax Return preparation for many of our business clients but also for a large number of individuals. In these cases we deal with H M Revenue & Customs on behalf of these clients, and keep them advised of filing deadlines and dates for payment of tax. We can also advise on taxation planning and deal with queries on taxation.


A further service which we can provide is the preparation of management accounts for businesses on a monthly or quarterly basis as required, and we also offer a book-keeping service if necessary.
